Fetus Fund Update...
As of this morning the "Stop My Abortion" account total stands at $4809. That’s $35191 short of the amount I’ll need to prevent me from getting a medical professional to chop my fetus into easy-to-flush chunks.Can you imagine it, “pro-lifers”? Unless you guys start clicking on my “Donate” button, come October 20, lobsters will be munching on my “womb-baby”. Squid will be sucking on its bones.
The amazing thing is that since I put up the “Make Me Abort” button last week, that account has received over $2,000 in donations. The money and prayers seem to be turning in favor of termination of the fetus.
But there’s still over a month to go. I’ll just sit back, drink my trailer park margaritas (methamphetamine on the glass rim instead of salt), watch Doctor Phil and wait for the two opposing forces to decide the fate of Junior...

If you want to make more money, I suggest you choose baby names, one for an girl clump, one for an boy clump, and maybe an ambiguous one for an intersexed clump.
May I suggest "Pete" for an XY?
Think about it. They used to not name children when they were first born, because high infant mortality rates claimed so many babies and it was harder on everyone if the baby had a name.
So if you pick names, in theory, pro-lifers will get more attached and send more dough.
Could you make one of those fundraising thermometers? I think people respond better to visual representations.
Maybe you could put the firey flames down at the bottom (= abortion) and, like, a crib and a trike up at top.

I am a pro-lifer who has no religious convictions at all . I didn't need the fear of god or anything else to come to my decision, just a good sence of what is right and wrong.
You see we were all once a fetus. Is it beyond the realm of possibilities that when your mother first learned she was carrying you, she may have considered her options? What if she had decided to terminate? Would that have been OK?
You would not exist, if you have children they would not exist, and your (husband or wife) would be married to someone else. You would have been deprived of all your experiences and memories. In this day and age with terminations being so readily available and so many being carried out, if you make it to full term
you can consider yourself lucky. Lucky you had a mother that made the choice of life for you. Don't you think they all deserve the same basic human right, LIFE?
I'm all for contraception, prevention is certainly better than termination.
Did you know you can get an implant that is safe, 99.9% effective, and lasts for three years? Just think girls not even a show for three years, wouldn't that be great? I think too many people rely too heavily on the last option (abortion), I think if abortions weren't so readily available people would manage their reproductive system far better resulting in a fraction of the number of unwanted pregnancies.

That's a stagering 98% that may have been prevented had an effective birth control been used. Don't get me wrong, I suspect the percentages in Australia would be much the same.

I am convinced that in the not too distant future, people will look back at many of the practices of today with disbelief and horror.

You're missing the point that if i had been aborted as a foetus, i wouldn't have known about it. being alive is much more than being a growing organism. its about the mind. 1 in 3 pregnancies end in miscarriage, why not fund research into making sure that doesn't happen?
You say you have a good sense of right and wrong. Well what gives you the right to preach at others? if you aren't religious, i'm sure you don't appreciate people shoving religion down your throat? what makes what you are doing any different?
I, personally could never have an abortion. but i would never project that onto anyone else, nor judge them for it. nothing gives you the right to judge someone for doing something ultimately right for them, and yes, even the baby.
babies brought up in poverty, to drug addicted parents, with severe disabilities, babies who would have no quality of life, would you rather put them through years of suffering just so you could be all self righteous?
as to "stop my abortion", i'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and hope that you have more reasons behind this blog and the termination than just proving a point. i find it difficult to believe you've decided to terminate on a whim.
